Look forward to more than 100 performances – street performers, circus acts, buskers, musicians, artists, clowns, mimes and entertainers – on several stages and in different places at the V&A Waterfront, Africa’s most visited cultural and historical hub. All performances are free to enter – audiences pay for what they like, and can do so by putting money into the performers’ hats, a tradition called ‘hatting’.
Street performers fresh from the international festival circuit and some of South Africa’s hottest
buskers will be converging on the V&A Waterfront for the third Cape Town Buskers Festival, which begins on 1 November 2018.
The city's third Buskers Festival will run from 1 and 11 November (with the performers having rest days on 6 and 7 November). The festival is partnered and sponsored by the V&A Waterfront as an extension of the platform it provides to performers to showcase their talent across the property.
Date: 1 - 11 November, 2018
Location: V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, Western Cape 8002
