Leonardo 500 Celebrations

• Leonardo’s Sale delle Asse at the Castello Sforzesco, inaccessible since 2011, is again open to visitors. Its restoration brought to light original sketches and drawings by Da Vinci. Inauguration May 2, 2019.

• Citywide exhibition of artworks inspired by the famous Leonardo’s Horse — after a full exhibition of all the works at the San Siro Racecourse in May 2019.

• Exhibitions, events and shows throughout Milan centered on Leonardo’s life and work in the city where he spent the best and longest part of his creative life.
