Due to the Budafok Champagne and Wine Festival the Cellar Trip will run on a day other than the usual. The 30th Budafok Champagne and Wine Festival is between 31 August and 1 September.
To ensure that you can access the festival programs on Saturday from the city centre of Budapest, Cellar Trip buses will run on 31 August instead of the first Saturday of September and more often than the usual schedule: every 30 minutes from 13:30 to 21:00 from the Parking lot of Bálna, on a different route.
Since there will be roadblocks in the centre of Budafok, the Cellar Trip Bus will transport passengers from the Parking lot of Bálna to Törley Champagne Factory), from where the stages of the festival and other locations of the centre are easily accessible on foot. Taking part in the festival programs is free.
There will be another, so-called Festival bus running between the wineries. You need to buy a separate ticket (HUF 500) to use it, you cannot use the Cellar Trip for the Festival bus.
The daily ticket of the Cellar Trip Bus is HUF 1,000 if purchased online in advance, HUF 1,200 if purchased on the bus and enables you to use the bus for an unlimited number of transports from the Parking lot of Bálna to Törley Champagne Factory providing comfortable access on foot to the free cultural programs of the festival. Guests who present the Cellar Trip daily ticket and the district residential card receive a further 10% discount at the restaurants taking part in the Cellar Trip program: Vasmacska Terasz, Promontor Étterem, István Tanya Vendéglő.
The festival can also be accessed by public transport: https://bkk.hu/en/ti bles.
