Every year more than a million people flow through the streets of Nampo-dong while a sea of holiday lights sparkles all around during the annual Busan Christmas Tree Festival.

At the heart of the celebration in Gwangbok-ro stands the city's iconic Christmas tree, revamped for 2016 and ready to greet the masses. While crowds congregate to admire the central spectacle of lights, they can partake in a slew of additional festivities that go beyond the stunning visual display and offer a chance to mark the holiday in truly Busan style.
