【Introduction】:For generations, the Japanese Tea Ceremony ‘Sado’ has been reserved and developed as a Japanese tradition that present the ritual of preparing and serving Matcha (green tea). The main concepts of Sado ,rooted in Chinese Zen philosophy, are to enjoy the harmony of the nature around you, to be respectful to both people and nature, to purify your thoughts by leaving all the worries behind, and to be tranquil from the inside out. These are 4 priority ideas I have learned from the ceremony.

The connection between host, guests and nature are created by the practical and aesthetical of the Matcha preparation.
The basic steps of practice in brief.
Adjust your body in every postures politely and touch each tool gently. Also, keep your hands (palms) clean by letting only the back of your hands touch the floor.
Get to know the specific tools for the ceremony such as tea caddy, tea whisk, tea scoop, tea bowl, silk cloth and iron pot and then appreciate the looks of each equipment.
Be calm and appreciate the room’s environment.
Enjoy the Japanese dessert using washi (Japanese paper) as a plate.
Enjoy the procedure of making Matcha.
Be respectful to the host, other guests and objects.
Appreciate the cup. Turn the front of the cup to the front.
Be grateful and enjoy the Matcha.
From my experience, I love the way Sado taught me to be calm and respectful not only human but also nature. It can be an alternative way to meditate focusing on the present with the pure mind. I have learned to be considerate of surroundings which I could adapt to my daily life.
