Tangyuan is rice dumplings. Among all Tangyuan brands of Tianjin, Laochengli Calcium Milk Tangyuan is the most famous one. The stuffing of Laochengli Tangyuan had been innovated from traditional materials. In winter, especially when it is Lantern Festival, you will be very lucky if you can eat them.

There are two major series of Laochengli Calcium Milk Tangyuan, Calcium Milk Tangyuan and Fruit Tangyuan. Calcium Milk series includes ten flavors of chocolate, coffee, cream, coconut cream, jackfruit, strawberry, orange, purple yam, cream bean paste and Hami melon; fruit series includes flavors of semen sesami nigrum, white sesame seed, pineapple, haw, five nuts, sweetened bean paste, peanuts and coco.
