Things to Do in Nadi, Fiji

Natadola Beach

This is a beautiful, isolated beach, and it’s not very easy to reach, but it’s worth it. Take the public bus as far as the road. From the road to the beach you can pay some local guys waiting at the bus stop to take you to the beach. The road is not paved.

Port Denaru

The Denarau Port is a very busy wharf. From here you will catch many of your tours to different islands like the Mamanuca Group for the Yasawa Group of islands. At the port you can also do shopping for groceries and for souvenirs. The Hard Rock Cafe, Cardo’s steakhouse, an Italian restaurant and a few other restaurants are located here. It’s a nice place to walk around. You can also change money at the currency exchange and have a (pricey) ice cream. Port Denarau is also a great place to watch out for some really exclusive yachts.

Snorkeling on the Coral Coast

Just offshore of the Bedarra Inn is an extensive nearshore reef system which extends out about a quarter of a mile. It is full of tide pools up to 5 feet deep and provides endless opportunities for great, safe snorkeling, tidepooling and exploring.

When you book a sailing safari, you will stay in little bures on the island, eat beautiful meals, watch the sunset from your bure, drink kava, sing songs, dance, relax, and maybe even swim with Manta Rays. It’s ideal if you just want to chill out and relax.
