The 15th Toronto International Art Fair (Art Toronto), which ran Oct 24 - 27, in Toronto, Canada brought exhibits from more than 100 galleries and renowned Canadian artists, making their first appearance.
Art Toronto has a large exhibition featuring BGL, three Quebec-based artists -- Jasmin Bilodeau, Sebastien Giguere and Nicolas Laverdiere -- will also attend the 56th International Art Exhibition on behalf of Canada. There was also a large merry-go-round using a lamp pole to convey ideas about control and freedom.
Other projects were a Pavilion of the Blind, a large moving installation with a colorful array of window blinds, panels and shades, with constantly changing abstract compositions; Canadian artist Thrush Holmes‘s “Break Room”, a movable construction site where he spoke with workers about their interests and dreams, as well as art, music, books, sex and human existence; and plenty of activities and lectures.
