【Introduction】:The delegation of Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development promoted customized Beijing tour in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on June 2.
Led by committee member Mr. Zhao Guangchao, the delegation of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development promoted customized Beijing tour products in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on June 2.
The delegation introduced a series of tour products to the local media and travel agencies before discussing with Dutch tourism officials and travel agencies about new modes of travel under Belt and Road Initiative.
The promotion is intended to demonstrate Beijing's customized tour products, keeping local travel agencies updated with Beijing's TCM regimen, sports events, and boutique resources of cultural tourism, as well as fostering tourism exchange and cooperation between both parties.
Frans, CEO of the Amsterdam Tourism Promotion Center, Monique, Director of China Department, Center for International Cooperation, Dutch Culture, and Yang Xiaolong, Director of Culture Section, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Netherlands presented the promotion with over 50 other representatives from local travel agencies and media from both sides.

In his speech addressing the promotion, Amsterdam Tourism Promotion Center CEO Frans shared high praise for the cooperation between Beijing and Amsterdam in the past and expressed that Amsterdam would exert continuous support for Beijing's tourism promotion. According to Frans, the Netherlands boasts abundant tourism resources, among which the Dutch Tulip Festival is very reputable. He wished for further cooperation with the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development in terms of tourism products, urban promotion, and events organizing.
Zhao Guangchao, Committee Member of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development stated in his speech that it is a new idea to promote Beijing tourism by means of combining cultural resources and tourism resources. As we know, Beijing and Amsterdam, cities situated on each end across the Eurasian continent, both have a long history and run a long course on their economic and cultural exchanges. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen Sino-Arab tourism resources exchange and complement it, by providing tourists with top-notch services so that they may have a travel experience with luxury enjoyment.

Five travel agencies including CYTS, CITS, China Harmony Travel Service, Caesar Tourism and Visitbeijing.com.cn demonstrated their products and enterprise culture at the promotion seminar. After the meeting, they carried out in-depth exchanges and communications with regional travel agencies, and made further consultations regarding their specific tourism products.
To coincide with this activity, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development also promoted a series of featured Beijing customized tour products, including the "Enjoy the China Open, Visit Beijing" program, a top customized tour product featuring sports events by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development.
The TCM Health Cultivation Tour is also attracting more expats and there are a great many number of TCM Health Cultivation tour resources in Beijing. Tourists can not only visit exhibitions of TCM relics, but also take part in lectures on health cultivation, learning about Traditional Chinese Medicine and experiencing some TCM service items in person, such as acupuncture. It will be a great idea to tone bodies with the four diagnostic methods of TCM and experience the mysterious TCM Health Cultivation tour while appreciating Beijing's beautiful landscapes.
