The government of Kenya on February 13 launched a series of new measures including exempt of charter flight landing fees and reducing park ticket prices to stimulate local tourism recovery and attract foreign tourists to Kenya for sightseeing.
According to the stimulus package, from today to June 30, 2018, all charter flights landing in Mombasa MOI International Airport and Malindi airport will not need to pay landing fees. Ticket prices of 28 national park within Kenya territory and 32 wildlife reserves will reduce from $90 to $60. In addition, from February 1, visa fee of foreigners under the age of 16 will be cancelled.
