A commencement ceremony has been held in Hangguoshu Scenic Area for the Huangguoshu Town project, which is intended to expand and upgrade the area. Covering an area of about 733 hectares, the 20-billion-yuan project will be built into an important waterfall ecology culture demonstration area in Guizhou and a tourist resort in Southwest China.
Situated in the south of HUangguoshu City, Huangguoshu Resort Town is the core of Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area. By relying on the worldwide largest waterfall group and best-preserved multi-ethnic folk customs, the project will create Huangguoshu Style Street, HUanguoshu Happy & Smart Valley, Huangguoshu Hot Spring Valley, HUanguoshu Flora Valley and Huangguoshu International Institute of Tourism, thus combing cultural, entertainment, tourism, exhibition and recreational industries. It will meet your needs of business, residence and cultural exchange.
Phase I Project of Huangguoshu Style Street covers a land area of about 26 square meters and costs about 3 billion yuan. Featured by cultural tourism, the street rolls functions of accommodation, travel, shopping and entertainment into one.
With the completion and operation of the project, an estimate of over 9 million tourists will arrive by 2020, contributing 120 billion yuan to local economy.
