The United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA) is inviting the travel community to virtually #ComeTogetherWithUSTOA this month by tuning into its social channels for international music videos.
As people practice social distancing and all public gatherings are cancelled, including concerts and performances, the association is bringing people together with music videos from artists based in the destinations that tour operator members visit.
“As USTOA members come together to begin to plan for recovery, this social media campaign will allow our global community to virtually unite through the inspiring universal language of music,” said Terry Dale, president and CEO of USTOA. “By supporting international musicians, destinations, and tour operators throughout the month, we hope to offer uplifting and engaging content.”
Kicking off the campaign was Ailbhe Reddy, the indie-Irish-folk singer based in Dublin. Since then, the daily features have included bands, songwriters, and even accordionists, from Nova Scotia, Mexico, London, and Finland. Upcoming artists will include a twin-duo of violinists from Sicily and a country band from Tanzania.
