Seoul Fringe Festival

Fringe Festival is a cultural celebration dominated by young artists. Originated from Edinburgh, Scotland, it has spread to around 70 countries, including South Korea. Seoul Fringe Festival was held in 1998 as the first independent art festival in Asia. Nowadays, the celebration has evolved into a comprehensive culture and arts festival. Each year in August over 300 teams from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Macao, Japan, India, and South Korea participate in this celebration .
