Fish Feast of Jingpo Lake

The Fish Feast of Jingpo Lake is one of the cuisine specialties of Mudanjiang. It includes spring fish feast, summer fish feast, autumn fish feast and winter fish feast. Spring fish feast is also called opening fish feast. Fish become plump after the long winter, and fresh in spring. The fishes cooked with wild vegetables in spring are very delicious. In summer, an abundant amount of fishes are caught and the feast is prepared in a delicate style. In autumn, plump fishes are cooked with local specialties, especially vegetables. In winter, fishes are cooked in all kinds of hot pot, together with local style side dishes.
