Hong Kong Arts Centre has been promoting contemporary arts and culture in Hong Kong and abroad since it was founded in 1977. The self-financing organization is one of the most respected arts institutions in the city. Its facilities include a digital 3D-equipped cinema, theatres, galleries, classrooms, studios, a restaurant, a café as well as offices occupied by local and international arts and culture organizations. Be sure to visit its Pao Galleries, which houses year-round, world-class exhibitions of arts and crafts.

Hong Kong Arts School is the education arm of Hong Kong Arts Centre. It offers academic-level programs, short courses, and outreach projects.

Transportation:

MTR Wan Chai Station Exit C, walk along the foot bridge to Immigration Tower and go straight to Harbour Road. Turn left to the Arts Centre.

MTR Admiralty Station Exit E2, walk through Harcourt Garden, take the footbridge to the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, turn right for a two-minute walk to Fenwick Street.

Take a Star Ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui to the Star Ferry Pier in Wan Chai. From the pier, cross the footbridge and walk straight ahead to Harbour Road; then turn right, in the direction of the Hong Kong Exhibition & Convention Centre and walk for about five minutes. Hong Kong Arts Centre is on the right.
