Sapporo International Ski Resort

It takes about one hour to drive from downtown Sapporo. Among the ski resorts in the Sapporo area, it has a rather long season starting in mid November and ending in early May. There are seven courses for beginners to advanced skiers and a snow park for sledding and tubing. The Woody Trail and Fairy Tale Trail for beginners is a 3.6-km course which will satisfy you enough. For those who like to mogul, there is a downhill course with a 30-degree slope. And for snowboarders, there is a snowboard park with tabletops and jump ramps. In addition, it’s also nice to visit the Jozankei Onsen in that they are close to each other.
