Spring Festival

The annual Spring Festival is held between September and October and is based at Wellington Botanic Garden amongst the tulip display.

Say goodbye to winter and hello to spring at Wellington's Spring Festival. Enjoy the glorious colours and fragrance of spring flowers at Wellington Botanic Garden, see Otari-Wilton’s Bush at its best, and discover other highlights around town.

The festival features:

- Dutch culture, family fun and entertainment on Tulip Sunday

- guided walks and activities at the Botanic Garden, Otari Wilton's Bush, and other venues around the city.

Most of the activities are free.
