July 24, 2016 – Ironman Zurich Switzerland

The Ironman Zurich Switzerland has been taking place in Zurich since 1997 and the shorter Ironman 70.3 Switzerland has been held in Rapperswil-Jona since 2006. Both occasions attract athletes from over 60 countries to Zurich. The Ironman Zurich Switzerland is also the official qualifying competition for the Ironman Hawaii. The swimming routes in the clear waters of Lake Zurich and the racetracks and cycle routes through the lush meadows are a highlight for all who share a part in this grand event.
