Jakarta International Events Lack of Promotion

Several international events in Jakarta are less of promotion. Not only for local people, but also to foreign citizens.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, said facilities in Jakarta are not used maximally. One of the facilities are Light-Emitting Diode (LED).

“Jakarta also has big events just like in Singapore. But the promotion is lack,” he said, Monday (8/15).

According to him, European orchestra has been performed many times in Jakarta. Jakarta also has world class theater. Ticket fare is cheaper compared to other countries.

“This should be promoted,” he added.

He suggested buildings in the capital who have LED to promote international events. The information should be also promoted in tourism bus.

“We have many ambassadors here in Jakarta. This is all about lack of promotion,” he closed.
