700 People Visit Proklamasi Park Jakarta per Day

The historical monument Proklamasi Monument, Menteng, Central Jakarta is still one of tourist recreational sites target. Each day, the monument is visited by 700 people.

“The park and the light have been improved to attract more visitor,” said Sabdo Kurnianto, National Monument Management Office Head, Sunday (12/18).

According to him, the monument is free of charge.

“People will spend their time as well as learning our history,” he added.

The site is opened at 8 AM to 9 AM everyday. The area is also equipped with CCTV to monitor the visitors.
