The Municipality of Varna, Bulgaria Has Decided to Turn an Old Building into a Museum of Architecture

VELIKO TURNOVO, BULGARIA - The building located on “Prselav” 22 in Varna, Bulgaria will be renovated and turned into a museum of architecture.

The local municipal government of Varna, Bulgaria has decided to make the building on “Preslav” 22 street into a museum of architecture. Five years ago, the building was offered to the Ministry of Law, but they have not made use of it. The desire of Varna’s government is to completely renovate the building and place the new municipal department “Real Cultural Heritage” there.

The estate is located close to the tourists’ route, which covers the architectural wealth of the town and allows the building to be made into a museum of architecture. The project can be started without delay, as the Ministry of Law has decided to willingly give-up ownership of the estate. In 2018, part of the municipal budged will be directed towards the restoration project. (Author: Bozhidar Lazarov)
