【Introduction】:The 31st annual Polar Bear Swim Festival will take place from January 6-7, 2018 at Haeundae Beach. This unique event is held every year to help embrace the cold winter weather, as well as pray for good health in the New Year.

The 31st annual Polar Bear Swim Festival will take place from January 6-7, 2018 at Haeundae Beach. This unique event is held every year to help embrace the cold winter weather, as well as pray for good health in the New Year.
The pre-festival event is scheduled to be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 and the main event of the festival will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 10AM at Haeundae Beach.
Enthusiastic participants will run and jump into the sea and swim in the cold waters like a “Polar Bear” in the Arctic Ocean. This is one of the city’s most enjoyable winter festivals and provides a unique experience for everyone involved.
The festival hosted by Busan Ilbo and co-supported by Busan Metropolitan City and Haeundae-gu.
There are a variety of exhibitions and programs visitors can enjoy and take part in.
Jan. 6 – 7 @ Haeundae Beach: Giant polar bear display, eco-friendly graffiti art, polar bear face and body painting, entertainment gaming zone
Jan. 7 @ Haeundae Beach: Polaroid picture event, performers in polar bear costumes, ice bucket challenge, making polar bear beach ball
