Over 300 people including inheritors of intangible cultures from 56 nationalities and friends from all circles attended the opening ceremony.

Invested for construction by Tianjin Rockcheck Group, the center is jointly created by 15 designers, 40 artists and 10 specialized teams. Around "life, livelihood, ecology and production", four key appeals of mankind's survival and development, the center is set with exhibition hall showing panoramic life scenes of 56 nationalities, a distinguished gathering of intangible cultures of 56 nationalities. In addition, every space of the center can be not only used for exhibiting, but also used as book bar, music bar, movie bar, cafe bar or to carry out interactive or training projects like incense lore, ikebana, tea art or instrument salon, etc. In the future, the center will also contact with local intangible culture inheritors of 56 nationalities to offer platforms of employment, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation.

Chen Qing, president of Costume Institute of Guizhou Qiannan Folk Culture Institute, said, "We bring here 23 different varieties of ethnic culture products from Guizhou, sweetgum dying national dress, Miao embroidery artwares and Miao silver. Many of them are national level and provincial level intangible items. I hope, with the help of the center, our ethnic cultures and skills could be shown to all tourists of China."
