Liberty Bridge

The Liberty Bridge is a great bridge in Budapest, located in the southeastern part of the city center, across the Danube, connecting Buda and Pest. The bridge was built between 1894 and 1896, using the most beautiful imitation chain bridge. The bridge was originally named after the emperor. Its length is 333.6 meters, and it is 20.1 meters wide. The top of the bridge is decorated with four bronze statues of Turul, a bird of similar to a falcon in ancient Hungarian myth.
