Battelfield Sightseeing Park located in the southeast of Dadeng Island covers an area of 87 thousand square meters. The park and Dajinmen Island is separated by the sea. An artillery war once occurred in this park, and there was one and a half cannonballs left on the earth per square meter on average. Today, this place has become a multi-functional tourism area which takes the battlefield sightseeing as the main content. There are many featured spots here, such as “The Historic Museum of the Three Hero Islands”, “Military Weapons Display Museum”, “The Largest Trumpet in the world”, “Battlefield Underground Tunnel”, “8.23 Artillery War Memorial”, “Revolutionary Martyr Memorial Museum”, “Artillery Relic”, “Battlefield Maze” and “Wangjin Tower”. Three Hero Islands refer to the Dadeng Island, Xiaodeng Island and Jiaoyu Island administered by Dadeng Avenue, Xiang’an District, Xiamen. This is the closest place from the Chinese mainland to Jinmen in Taiwan. It used to be the front of the battlefield.
