【Introduction】:According to the legend, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon had two names. One called Rotten Ship Gorge, because the water of the whole gorge and the Southern Red Flag Canal is from Shenquan Stream and its spring gushes from many rotten ships, but the local people don’t know the place that the rotten ships come from.

According to the legend, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon had two names. One called Rotten Ship Gorge, because the water of the whole gorge and the Southern Red Flag Canal is from Shenquan Stream and its spring gushes from many rotten ships, but the local people don’t know the place that the rotten ships come from. So it named after the “Rotten Ship Gorge”. The origin of this name has a meaning of “to the End of Life”.

Another name is called Massive Springs Gorge, because there are numerous springs in both sides of the gorge. This name just highlights the feature of Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, which is countless streams running through the canyon and you can see them everywhere. Today’s tour is walking down the canyon via A Thread of Sky, then heading forward along the stream, and finally reaching Shenquan Lake Wharf.

In Zhangjiajie, the Grand Canyon is like a fairy, far away from the earth, in pursuit of heavenly harmony and self-perfection. Sightseeing slide is like the ribbon of fairy, falling into the Grand Canyon. The glass bridge, leaping the canyon, what a thrilling and exciting view! Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon is a miracle of natural wonders.

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon combining mountain, water, cave and lake, is the “Landform Museum of Zhangjiajie”. The canyon stretches for miles, there are cliffs, waterfalls and streams along the way. It’s the Xanadu on earth. You will find rare species of trees, birds and animals here. There are also 116 types of animals living in Zhangjiajie.

There is a 600-meter-long nock slide in the canyon, and tourists can have a try to relieve fatigue. You can walk on the world's highest and longest glass bridge - Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass-bottomed Bridge, and also enjoy the excitement of bungee jumping here.
