【Introduction】:Lake Retba or Lac Rose (meaning Pink Lake) lies north of the Cap Vert peninsula of Senegal, some 30 km north-east of the capital, Dakar in Northwest Africa.

Lake Retba lies some 20 km north-east of Dakar .
