Hokkaido University

Hokkaido University is initially opened as Sapporo Agricultural College in 1876. Its historical buildings spread around the elm and gingko trees attracted many tourists.

Odori Park

Odori Park is an oasis with 92 kinds of trees (4,700 trees in total) including lilacs and elms located and other kinds standing in the middle of a building block.

Sapporo Clock Tower

The clock tower was built in 1878 as a theatrical hall of the Sapporo Agricultural School, now as Hokkaido University.

Shiroi Koibito Park

Shiroi Koibito Park offers a lot to do and see, for instance, it offers factory tours, which will allow tourists to see how Hokkaido’s leading confectionery “Shiroi Koibito” is made.
