Arul Mihu Navasakthi Vinayagar Temple
Arul Mihu Navasakthi Vinayagar Temple was built in 1992 and is located near the fish market in Victoria. It is the only Hindu temple in Seychelles, and is named after the Hindu god "Lord Vinayagar." Victoria's businesses were run by Indians at first, and then joined by Chinese later, thus, among its foreigners, most of them are Indians. The temple features significant Indian cultural characteristics, which is particularly manifested by a small square in front of the temple. It is a must-see site for visitors.
