【Introduction】：Stone Buddha Temple, located in Baizhuang village, Daiwang Street, Macun District, was first built in 948- the 13th year during the reign of Emperor Tianfu in the late Han Dynasty.

Stone Buddha Temple, located in Baizhuang village, Daiwang Street, Macun District, was first built in 948- the 13th year during the reign of Emperor Tianfu in Later Han Dynasty. The temple gained fame after several large-scale renovations during the Jin and Ming Dynasty. According to the records on steles, Stone Buddha lies south to Huangjin, north to Taihang Mountain, west to a stream and east to Longsahn Mountain, showing a superior location and a good Buddhist connection. In the 1930’s, Shi Zhuzhai, who came from Grand Xiangguo Monastery of Kaifeng, became the master of the temple, who made great contributions to promoting Buddhism. When he passed away, there were 28 crystal relics left, which have been seen as Buddhist treasures. Until now, Stone Buddha Temple is the only temple of Pure Land Sect in Jiaozuo, and also the biggest Pure Land Dojo in northern Henan province.
