Located in Zhaibu Chang Vllage, Sujiazuo County, New District, Jiao Zuo, Zhaibu Chang Residential Complex is a luxurious architecture of Ming and Qing Dynasties, which incorporated architectural features of North and South China. This quadrangle residential building consists of over 90 houses with more than 300 rooms. With the exquisite craftsmanship reflected in paintings, stone carvings, and woodcarvings, the Zhaibu Chang Residential Complex has a great value of cultural relic protection and tourism development. Emperor Wu made a divination here before his conquest over Yin, so this place got the name Buchang. The establishment of the No.9 team of Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan area field army, which was the predecessor of the Fifteenth Air Force, added some communist meaning here. It was listed as one of the provincial patriotic education bases in 2009 and was among the seventh batch of buildings that received the title of National Cultural Relic Protection Unit in 2013.
