St. Peter’s Cathedral is in St. Peter’s Church and is located in urban areas on the north side. It was built in 1710 and is Malaysia’s oldest Catholic Church. In mid-April of Jesus suffering each year and festival of St. Peter in June, a grand religious ceremony will be held here. During Easter, tens of thousands Christians arrive here to attend candle light dinner and parade ceremony. This church was built by the Portuguese, which has a blend of eastern and western architectural features. There are beautiful lading styles windows in the hall decorated with colorful stained glass inlays. Nowadays it is the church of Portuguese diplomats.
