Sengela, also known as Città Invicta, is located on a narrow peninsula and faces the Valletta wharf. The name L-Isla is the meaning of peninsula in Maltese. During the Second World War, 75% of the buildings were destroyed. Now, the most famous place of this city is Gardjola Garden which is on the other side of Valletta. There is a sentry point that is the shape of the bunker in the garden. This district is responsible for the guarding and securing the port. In this outstanding sentinel point, you can find the famous Eye of Horus.
