The Goldener Reiter (gilded statue of Augustus the Strong) is located in this market and shows that Augustus II left for Warsaw and served as King of Poland from Dresden Street. Metro is the cultural center of Dresden. Haupt str. connects Metro market and Albertplatz. This street is the Boulevard that has plane trees planted around it. There are restaurants, open-air cafes, fast food restaurants, fountains, stores and so on. During the summer, many tourists and residents drink and chat while sitting on the outdoor roadside.
