The Cairo Citadel

The Cairo Citadel was built in the 12th century. It served as the office of the governor of Cairo during the Feudal ages. At the time of Mohamed Ali, the citadel was changed a lot. The walls were rebuilt, demolishing some previous offices, and building some civil houses and mosques.
