Gwangju Lake Ecological Park gives the feeling of being buried into a landscape of paintings. A wooden bridge and a field of reeds are connected. It is a field for learning about nature, a grass resting square and an area of wild flowers. The ecological pond is also very beautiful. We can experience the forest of reeds in the lakeside swampy land. There is an esplanade and a swamp observatory established around the flower area. The biotope is an ecological space where we can observe the habitation and movement of wild animals. We can observe worms, and animals such as frogs, toads, snails, leeches, river deer, sika deer and otters. There is a big rock on Gwangju Lake when we look at it from the Eco Park. That striking rock called Nojaam Rock is a dolmen that was unearthed when the Ecologic Lake was built.
