【Introduction】:Located in the northwest of the Wuyi Square, the Shanxi Art Museum covers an area of 10,000 square meters.

Located in the northwest of the Wuyi Square, the Shanxi Art Museum covers an area of 10,000 square meters. The museum was also called Chunyang Temple during the Yuan Dynasty, which was dedicated to enshrine LüDongbin, a Taoist priest in Tang Dynasty. It is both a Taoist temple and a classical garden architecture with grand layout, solemn atmosphere, different heights and artful combination.

Shanxi Art Museum is a gallery to hold collections, research and exhibit the ancient and modern artworks. The aim is to create a space where artwork can be viewed and make tourists enjoy the culture and advance the historical knowledge of those visiting here.

In 1996, it was publicized as Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit of Shanxi Province and seventh batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
