Comparing to the trains, long-distance buses are better suited to travelers on a tight budget. The UK's leading car company is National Express, in addition, there are Megabus, Green Line and Eurolines, of which, Green Line is comparatively cheaper. Except for ticket window inside the station, visitors can also buy tickets as well as preferential cards at the official websites of the car companies.

Buses

London city buses run 24 hours a day (night bus numbers are initiated with letter N). The price for a bus is cheaper than subway, but sometimes there would be a traffic jam. Please wave to the drive to stop the car before you get in and press the button to inform the driver before you get off. Buses does not take cash for tickets, if you have no traffic card, you can buy a single ticket at the bus station.
