WTCF Invited to Report on Air China Opening Beijing-Hami-Shihezi Route

Air China Opened the new Beijing-Korla and Beijing-Hami-Shihezi routes on July 21st, 2016. On that day, Air China invited Sina, Tencent, Lonely Planet, IFENG.COM and other media outlets in Beijing to attend the first flight. The We-media team of WTCF was also invited to report this.

Air China is a member of WTCF. This opening event will be promoted on our website, WeChat account, and magazine. The We-media of WTCF has already set up promotion pages for 110 city members and 64 institutional members to promote their tourism resources and report related news in a timely manner.

After the implementation of the routes, there will be a total of 10 shipping points of Air China in Xinjiang Autonomous Region.

The opening of the two air routes will promote development of economy, trade, culture, and tourism in Korla and Shihezi. It will also extend the air traffic of Air China in the Northwest China. Its air network covers Southern Xinjiang as well as Northern Xinjiang.

Air China is offering discounts for the opening. Tourists that login to the official website of Air China before August 30th and order tickets five days in advance can get a discount of 40%. One-way tickets from Beijing-Korla will be as low as RMB 1,540 (Tax not included) and one-way tickets from Beijing- Shihezi will be as low as 1,560 (Tax not included).

The flight number of Beijing-Korla is CA1813/4 and there are four flights every week. They are schedule on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The plane type is B738. The outward flight departsat 11:40 from Beijing and arrives in Korla at 16:00. The return flight flies from Korla at 17:00 (Beijing Time) and arrives in Beijing at 20:25.

The flight number of Beijing-Hami-Shihezi is CA1299/1300 and there are three flights every week. They are schedule on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The plane type is B738. The outward flight departs at 8:50 from Beijing and arrives in Hami at 12:20 and it stays for a short time. Then it departs for Shihezi at 13:05 and arrives at 14:35. The return flight departs from Shihezi at 15:35 (Beijing Time) and arrives in Hami at 16:55. Then it departs for Beijing at 17:40 and arrives at 20:40.
