【Introduction】:Shuangcheng district government in Harbin will build a retiree project together with Galaxy7, a Qingdao-based company focusing on green development
Harbin is looking to develop its retiree market as part of a deal established on March 29 between the Shuangcheng district government and Galaxy7, a Qingdao-based company focusing on green development.
Over the next three to five years, Galaxy7 plans to inject 11.2 billion yuan ($1.80 billion) in four phases into its retiree tourism project which will integrate ecological agriculture features. Plantation, agro-product processing, logistics, reference site for farming and the tourism retreat project will be carried out step by step.
A Songhua River waterfront view, wetland ecosystem and islets strewed along the banks will offer a relaxing lifestyle. The farms and plantations will be the main food suppliers for the retirees living in the resort. In addition to fostering a sustainable lifestyle, the tourism retreat project will offer skiing, thermal springs, ice and snow scenes in the winter and river cruises in summer, offering a rich life to future residents.
