A networking event was held at the Qingdao Sino-Germany Ecological Park to promote South Korean innovation and startup projects to local enterprises, according to Qingdao Daily on June 16.
The event was organized by Qingdao International Economic Cooperation Zone and the Korean Venture Capital Association (KVCA) from ROK, attracting 11 South Korean start-up companies and 62 local firms.
The South Korean enterprises provided details about projects covering various industries, ranging from mobile internet, electronic information to healthcare.
At the meeting, venture capital enterprises and startups conducted negotiations on future projects they were interested in cooperating in.
The KVCA that has more than 30,000 members is an important strategic cooperative partner of Qingdao's West Coast New Area, especially after the free trade agreement between two countries which took effect at the end of 2015.
