London Getting Hard Rock Hotel

London’s first Hard Rock hotel is slated to open in 2018 at the site of the Cumberland Hotel on the city’s West End.

The Hard Rock London will have 900 rooms, many with views of Hyde Park. The property will also have a restaurant and rooftop lounge, and will be filled with the rock n’ roll memorabilia that’s synonymous with the brand. Notably, the Cumberland Hotel included Jimi Hendrix as a former guest. Additionally, the first Hard Rock Café opened in London in 1971.

Hard Rock International said last week that its first New York hotel would open in midtown Manhattan in 2019.
