2017 Hainan Int'l Tourism Trade Expo opens at Sanya Beauty Crown

The 2017 Hainan International Tourism Trade Expo (Hainan Expo) kicked off at 10:00 a.m. at Sanya Beauty Crown on January 12th.

The 2017 Hainan Expo is the second edition of the annual event that highlights more elements. The exhibition area of 2017 Hainan Expo has expanded from 45,000 square meters as in 2016 to 55,000 square meters. The number of exhibitors also increased from 330 to 556.

Under the theme of “Hainan – One Belt, One Road National Strategy, Win-Win Cooperation in Economy, Trade, Tourism and Culture,” this year’s expo is focusing on the great achievements made under the background of the construction of Hainan International Tourism Island and innovation-driven development of service and commerce.

20 promotional activities for Hainan cities and counties, and China (Hainan) International Economy and Trade Cooperation Conference are scheduled to be held during the expo, with 2,830 VIP guests from state-owned key enterprises and Hainan government officials in attendance.

In addition, the 4-day event will feature a variety of events including Hainan International Tourism Island Shopping Carnival, China Duty Free Trade Fair, Beach Contemporary Art Fair, national cultural performances and large-scale auctions.
