You Can Now Fly Direct Between Sanya & St. Petersburg in Russia

The inaugural direct flight of the St. Petersburg – Sanya air route landed at the Sanya Phoenix International Airport at 6:19 a.m. on November 7th, 2017. There were 235 passengers on board headed for a tropical holiday tour in Sanya.

The newly opened air route is Sanya’s eighth international air route to open this year.

The air route, operated by I-Fly with a Airbus A330-200 aircraft, runs once a week.

I-Fly is a Russian charter airline based in Moscow operating mainly out of Vnukovo International Airport. It is the fourth airline to open flights between Sanya and Russian-speaking countries.

As of November 7th, 2017, the Sanya Phoenix International Airport has 25 international and regional air routes connecting to 12 countries and regions. The number of flights from Sanya to Russian-speaking countries is 11 per week.
