MINSK, 23 October – The second catalogue MICE in MINSK. Meeting Planners Guide to promote Minsk as a business tourism center will be developed before the end of 2017, BelTA learned from the strategic development center Marketing Systems. The publication in two languages (Russian and English) will include about 50-60 pages.
The catalogue will provide the general information about Minsk and Belarus, conference capacity of hotels, conference halls, the list of countryside facilities, travel and event agencies, restaurants, entertainment programs. The catalogue will be published in 2,000 copies.
The new materials will be distributed at business events, presentations, exhibitions, through ministries, agencies, websites and email. The first catalogue was developed in May 2017 and caught interest of businessmen.
It was published in 1,000 copies. Such catalogues have been developed by many cities, including Moscow, St Petersburg, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, Lvov, Riga, Jurmala, and Warsaw. The MICE in Minsk project was launched in February 2016 to unite travel agents and event agencies, hotels, countryside facilities and government bodies. The project is aimed at developing Minsk and Belarus as a venue to host conferences, congresses, forums, teambuilding events and festivals.
