Sanya Promotes in Berlin & Yekaterinburg, 12 Years in a Row

A Hainan tourism delegation attended the 2018 Internationale Tourismus-Boerse (ITB) Berline. The delegation consisted of 13 representatives from the International Branch of the Hainan Tourism Development Commission, the Sanya Municipal People’s Government, the Sanya Tourism Development Commission, and representatives from major travel agencies and tourism organizations. The fair kicked off on March 7th, 2018.

During the proceedings of the ITB fair, the delegation team held talks with the Mongolia Tourism Administration and invited them to visit Hainan, with an aim of opening new international air routes between the two regions.

At the fair, the delegation also conducted in-depth discussions with 13 German tour operators, including Deutsche Lufthansa, the biggest airline company in Europe and Tui Group, one of the of Europe’s largest travel agencies. Both sides were excited to expand the air route network by launching a direct flight between Sanya and Frankfurt.

A variety of Hainan tourism promotions are ongoing in Berlin; the promotions aim to attract worldwide attention.

As growing tourist destinations around the world face intense competition for international tourists, Sanya came with high expectations and understood the benefits of acting as a regular participant of Berlin ITB for 12 consecutive years from 2007 to 2018.

Sanya’s global roadshow in Yekaterinburg to promote tourism

On March 8th, 2018, Sanya launched its 2018’s first global roadshow to promote the tourism with a series of events in Yekaterinburg.

The roadshow was divided into different sections including exhibition, tea art performance, interaction, photo galleries and more, giving citizens in Yekaterinburg a deep impression of “Beautiful Sanya, Romantic Paradise”.
