St Petersburg: 30 Sapsans per Day for World Cup 2018

For the period of the World Cup, additional high-speed trains Sapsan will run between St. Petersburg and Moscow.

Number of train trips between Moscow and St. Petersburg will be increased in order to improve the quality of passenger service and increase the availability of travels during the Football World Cup in Russia.

Thus, from June 15 to July 13, 2018, Sapsans with numbers 761, 762, 763, and 764 that now ply only on Saturdays and Sundays will run every day. 30 trains of this type will be used daily between the city on the Neva and the Russian capital during the main football event; 6 of them are trains with doubled numbers of wagons (20 in total). Ticket sales have already been opened.
