Sanya Opens Three New Air Routes to Russia This Week

The inaugural direct flight of the Barnaul-Sanya air route landed at Sanya Phoenix International Airport at 3:30 a.m. on August 14th, 2018. The flight marked the opening of Sanya’s 8th international air route to Russia in recent years.

The new direct flight is jointly operated by Hainan Pearl River Travel Co., Ltd., Sanya Dragon International Travel Agency, and Russia’s Alrosa Airlines. The route is serviced by a Boeing 737-800, which runs once weekly on Mondays.

On the day of the inaugural flight, the Sanya-Barnaul Direct Flight Welcome Ceremony and the Sanya Tourism Promotional Conference were held at Resort Intime Sanya in Sanya.
