Save the Shore: The Sanya EDITION hotel, along with Havana Club and Thirsty Work Productions clean up Haitang Bay

On the early morning of October 16, 2018, 45 employees from the Sanya EDITION with 8 volunteers from Havana Club & Work Productions took part in the clean-up program which is named ‘Save the Shore’. At 6:30am, Mr. Yuan Haihua, the General Manager, gathered up with all participants at the hotel lobby.

Officially it launched the ceremony of this environmental program. Mr. Yuan Haihua stated: “This public charity program aimed at advocating environmental protection to build azure coastline by our hands, and its way easier to implement than imagination. At the same time, it also passed the core culture of Marriott Group, which is ‘caring community, spirit to serve”.

Meanwhile, we also invited the cocktail master, Vijay Mudaliar as a part of this program. He is the founder of NATIVE bar in Singapore, which is ranking 13th in Asia Top 50 bars. He is looking for natural raw ingredients continuously and turns it into a cocktail through experiencing natural taste buds, in order to inspire deeper exploration about environmental protection. This idea is consistent with the aim of the beach clean-up program, and brings us together to protect our azure shores.

On the evening of Oct 16th, Vijay Mudaliar with another 4 famous national bartenders, and bartender from Sky Bar of The Sanya EDITION hotel showed up together at Barbacoa Restaurant. Creating the cocktail based on the eco-friendly concept by picking ingredients from the breakfast buffet at the hotel, and sharing the concept of the creation. Besides, Vijay Mudaliar also had a Guest Shift at the Sky Bar to highlight the Night of Cocktail Master on the evening of Oct 17th. It was an enchanting cocktail night and impressed our guests.
