News: Buenos Aires Takes Part in IMEX America

The Buenos Aires City Tourist Board took part in IMEX America, one of the most important trade fairs for the MICE tourism sector, with three intensive days of meetings with events organisers, incentive houses, travel agents, associations, airlines and more.

The tourist board was represented by Constanza Ibarra, MICE manager, who took an active role in the meeting of SITE South America chapter and in ICCA events for members and hosted buyers. In 2017, Buenos Aires held the number one spot in the Americas in the ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association) ranking for the ninth year running, and was ranked 11th worldwide. Participation in the fair helps continue to position the city on the international stage, generating new contacts and potential events.
